On completion of the system installation, all equipment installed by us will qualify for our comprehensive on site parts and labour GOLDSTAR extended warranty and maintenance scheme. This is a fully comprehensive plan where coverage for all parts, labour and call outs is guaranteed. The only areas not included are those in which damage to equipment is normally covered by other insurances such as vandalism and accidental damage due to outside factors such as flooding, extreme weather etc. All costs are fully covered against failures due to fair wear and tear, items of equipment which are defective are removed from site, leaving the user with a service spare in its place to ensure the minimum of disruption and down time to the system. Where applicable defective items are then workshop repaired and bench tested prior to being returned and installed on site. Where equipment is irreparable new units are installed in place of the old. The comprehensive nature of this contract type allows the advantages of a single all encompassing cost for the year, simplifying forward budgets and removing the worries associated with system on costs.
